Sunil Ghatnekar brings extensive global and functional experience to his role as chief financial officer (CFO) at Prescient. A long time Coca-Cola executive, Ghatnekar most recently served as CFO of its Bottling Investments Group, which collectively generated more than $18 billion in revenue in 2016.
Ghatnekar began his career with Coca-Cola in 1992 in the international audits division. He has served in numerous roles across multiple functions and geographies. He joined Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions in 1994 and moved in this position to Singapore in 1997, covering transactions across Asia. Here, in 1999, he transitioned to the role of region manager and director Bottling to manage operations that generated revenue over $175 million across Singapore, Malaysia and southwest Asia. In 2004, he returned to Corporate M&A to lead various M&A activities across America, Eurasia and Asia until 2007. He then moved to Istanbul, Turkey, to become the CFO of the Eurasia and Africa Group, comprised of operations across 90 countries in that geography, generating revenue of over $2.5 billion. He then moved back to Atlanta in 2011, holding the position of CFO, Bottling Investment Group until recently.
Sunil earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Delhi University in 1983, is a chartered accountant, qualifying in 1986, and he earned an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business in 1992.
